Candidate Assessment

Collecting data

Auditing equalities data of people who did and did not get through assessment and selection stages can be helpful in assessing whether you need to take further action. In the interest of transparency, it is also best practice to publish diversity data on candidates who are selected and those who are not. This should be done in line with data protection regulations and only in instances where doing so would not allow identification of individuals or compromise anyone's privacy.

You may also want to consider gathering feedback from members who went through the candidate vetting to understand their experience of it and whether any improvements are needed in the process.
